    (1) We need a (English) title for Pensée 2.0 (no more pretentious names)
    (2) We need an intrepid host.
    (3) We need a bold opening post to lay out rules.

If (1), (2), (3) are met then other members should ensure that this volunteered person does not turn batty in a week marshalling the thread.

The only name I can think of is pow-wow. Quite uninspiring. Parley, colloquy... are blah. Maybe pow wow wow... : )

Or something to do with the Mad Hatter, sneaking in a C there.

The Hatter character, alongside all the other fictional beings, first appears in Lewis Carroll's 1865 novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. In it, the Hatter explains to Alice that he and the March Hare are always having tea because when he tried to sing for the Queen of Hearts, the foul-tempered monarch, at her celebration she sentenced him to death for "murdering the time", but he escapes decapitation. In retaliation, time (referred to as a "he" in the novel) halts himself in respect to the Hatter, keeping him and the March Hare stuck at 18:00 (or 6:00 pm) forever.

When Alice arrives at the tea party, the Hatter is characterised by switching places on the table at any given time, making short, personal remarks, asking unanswerable riddles and reciting nonsensical poetry, ...

In 18th century we had scuttlebutt talk, in 20th century water-cooler talk, in 21st century (2016) locker-room talk.
We need something ringing for 2017.

I love such play on literary characters!
We have fans of Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Twilight, Discworld series, so can't we create a pun or play on words from literature.

e.g If Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights was a chat room, what would it be called?
Me - Wittering Heights; witter= speak at length about trivial matters

e.g If Diagon Alley was a chat room, what would it be called?
Any takers. (Me - Diagnose Alley)

Hmm, we could just have one fun thread with such competing puns to finally select the name for a chat room

Lol. Kidding again. But this is funnn! I like 'Fusee' though. :yum:

Actually Cloud & Coffin is clever.... though some days if we don't see the humor it could be a dark name.

I think of one word and then look for rhymes. Found fusee like that.. rhymes with Eee and Gee. : ) Didn't think so much even for my cat's name : )

oh just realized fusee rhymes with pensee ! : )

Lol true that. But dark is cool! :yum:

Hm. We may remix Fusee and Pensee to something like... Phusee! Oh my! You hear 'that baby' banging its head?
