a caricature of kareena??

    It so happened, that one of my daughter's friend's sister has been asking her for a kareena kapoor sketch for a long time and dd had promised to do one.

    I warned her not to use any of her recent pictures, which had very fluffy cheekbones (maybe the credit goes to fillers/botox..) maybe movie forum experts will pitch in and dissect it..

    but the girl liked this particular picture of kareena..what started as a potrait turned out more of a disproportionate cartoon of her..

    And now we are in search of a better picture to keep the promise...

    Shanthi...why do you call it a "disproportionate cartoon" of Kareena.

    Charu seem to have taken care to minutely bring out Kareena's features and she hasn't failed. Its indeed a good one. I am not an expert in painting etc....to dissect it though.

    Oh she is trying to better this one ?? All the best. I am certain it will be excellent.

    It is a good attempt...rather a very good one for a kid (not sure of her age though)


    what I observed is that, individually eyes, nose and lips have come out very well..I think the issue (if at all) is only with cheeks (kind of bit elongated it looks)

    Saras, she says saras aunty is too biased..so she is not able to see the flaws... but the girl who wanted it has been running and jumping with joy at this picture..so no rubbing and doing it again..

    thanks for being with her throughout her journey of improving her skills..5 years mean a lot...

    yes she does have a knack of making the eyes speak.but she works on it real hard...

    she is 17 with no art classes.. the cheeks actually are as is seen in that particular picture..but the overall effect looks disproportionate for some reason i am not able to pin-point...

    oh definetely not a cartoon...never..its a wonderful attempt :)
