54 Yrs Of Friendship

    Celebrated 51 years of friendship on 31st July 2016. Now it is 54 yrs

    You must have heard about 50 years of Wedding Anniversary.It is not surprising because both are in the same house and they celebrate. But this is 51 years of friendship. When I came from Hyderabad I joined this Company and me and Borkar had been friends since then. We are still in touch .We were staying in the same place and afterwards I shifted. So many times we used to go to office together after getting down at VT. We worked together in Accounts Department. Whenever I had to work late he used to escort me home. He came to my house to celebrate our 51 years of friendship. But today being a rainy day that too heavy rains he never cancelled his trip. I have to say thanks to his wife who also came. This meeting brought old memories. In thi sheavy rain noone want to go out but I am happy that they both made it and we had a wonderful time. From there we went to another friend Vasavi's house and had a lovely time thinking of the sweet memories about our office.

    Dear Viji,
    It is really a nice get together.
    Chandra is my childhood friend.She is a few months elder to me.From !st to 11th we studied together. After SSLC she got married to her cousin and being Railway Engineer,they shifted place to place,yet had a close contact with me.Whenever she came to Chennai she stayed with us.She wanted to give her daughter in marriage to my son. But due to horoscope mismatch the wedding could not materialise.She travelled miles with her husband to attend upanayanam and wedding of my son and daughter.Her daughter chose to marry a Christian.When everybody ignored the wedding, myself and my husband extended whole hearted support though none 0f her relatives attended the wedding.I was by her side when she underwent byepass surgery and when she suffered complicated ailments.We are almost together for the past 75 years.Now due to health reasons she is unable to come home.But we visit her. During her sathabhishekam, we took initiative for organizing, since her brothers and sisters are keen on continuing the ill feeling.
