46th Wedding Anniversary

Today is our 46th Wedding Anniversary. Cant believe that we have completed 46 yrs. A successful marriage requires falling in love many times always with the same person.

Rules for a Happy Marriage
Never both be angry at the same time.
Never yell at each other unless the house is on fire.
If one of you HAS to win an argument, let it be your mate.
If you have to criticize, do it lovingly.
Never bring up mistakes of the past.
Neglect the whole world rather than each other.
Never go to sleep with an argument unsettled.
At least once every day try to say one kind or complimentary thing to your life’s partner.
When you have done something wrong, be ready to admit it and ask for forgiveness.
It takes two to make a quarrel, and the one in the wrong is the one who does the most talking.

In my married life I have tried to follow the above rules. Whenever my husband gets angry which will be for a genuine reason I keep quiet. I have never tried to argue with him. Till today I have never fought or stopped talkng to him. I have always tried to see the positive side of him. In the earlier days I did not understand him but as the years passed understood him and felt I am blessed to have him as my better half and now feel we are one and not two.

6 SHARING : The joy of giving without thoughts of receiving.
7 HONESTY : The quality of always telling the truth
