It's a tough phase that you are currently going through. But it's not going to be permanent.
Don't try to ignore the pain. But at the same time don't dwell too much on it.
Gestational diabetes is not an end to your dreams of having another child.
Take a break. Enjoy time with your kid. Meanwhile consult an endocrinologist and keep a tab on your diabetes status. Take a second opinion from another gynecologist reg trying for another kid. But do give your body and mind some rest.

I will surely keep in mind. We never planned for another child and me getting pregnant was a surprise and we were very happy but it didnt last long. Because I lost this child, my mind is overwhelmed with lot of thoughts, I really want to try to get pregnant but emotionally Im not ready, I need to focus on being emotionally balanced and getting ready physically . It feels like a lot of work.

I think yoga and meditation would help

to be frank i couldnt enjoy my pregnancy because i was scared to the core of losing it. i completely surrendered to god to protect the baby.
