27 Years Back

    Every year June brings me some sad memories but happy I came over that with the prayers, blessings from God and elders and good wishes from friends . Children are happy because School re opens in this month and they can enjoy using everythign new.

    Twentyseven years back in the month of June on the opening of school I had hip bone fracture, had to suffer for two days then only it was operated, was in bed for two months. The Doctor who attended did not do proper job, so again aftert wo months another operation, after which I was ok, with physiotheraphy which was so painful I started walking , first with the help of walker, then a stick , started going to office in contract bus earlier used to go by train for 25 years. Again in 1999 another operation when I was operated with hip joint. With God and elder's blessings I am alright today. Thanks to everyone who helped me always and inspired me

    I really wonder how u people managed at that time with work , injury and also taking care of kids , home etc. You are an inspiration for us .

    God gives us strength of mind to get over the crisis.If we think about it now, we may feel how we were able to manage.In a big joint family of ours I have seen many marriages taking place amidst some bad news and somehow Amma was very bold.She knew how to treat those impacts as sand particles on her shoulders, just shake them off and come out.Not that she was less emotional.She knew to get up soon when she fell down and encourage others, console others to return to normalcy.
    She was a pillar of strength. Perhaps we daughters have taken after her.

    Glad to know about your mother .Ya you must have got her boldness etc. Those days women were strong and pillar of strength.They used to manage the whole family
