21 day Challenge - Buddies needed

    Hi Kadal,
    Welcome to the thread. Congrats on taking the first step to being consistent. Please keep updating. Though I am not a nutritionist, but my two cents about your diet - Why is there no fruit in your diet? You are breastfeeding so having a fruit would help and keep you filled. Maybe you can add this also to your 21 day challenge - having two servings of a fruit daily.

    I too believe in starting with baby steps since I have failed miserably earlier!! 15 minutes of exercise daily! From tomorrow, though..

    Btw, my earlier challenges were something like this:
    "I have decided to lose 15 kgs in 6 months.. So far I have lost.................3 months!!!!!"

    Want to change it!

    Hi Smriti,
    Welcome to the thread. I also started with something like i want to lose 'x kg in y month' and set myself up for an unrealistic goal. Naturally i failed. So what did I do? Did I start again. Nah!! I went ahead and sabotaged whatever I had managed thinking that if I have already lost track so whats the point in continuing.

    So this time I have decided to do it everyday, no matter what, even if I am doing it only for 10 minutes. So join in and keep updating!!!

    hi friends
    let me start with my height and weight............
    my height: 170cm(5'6 feet)
    my weight: 156 lbs(71 kg)
    now i want to reduce 10 kilos...

    i started my diet last night itself.....
    my last night dinner was, oats kanji(with out milk), pear fruit and orange juice.....

    my todays diet:
    morning: warm water with honey
    @ 11 am: carrot and tomato juice
    lunch: 3 small chapathis, dhal and 1 boiled egg....
    snack:coconut water and green tea
    dinner: oats kanji(sorry i don't know how to say kanji in english), pear fruit and milk......
    my todays excercise regime:
    morning: 15 minutes yoga
    @ 1 o clock thinking of walking in tread mill
    evening: 15 minutes yoga

    Hi all
    I would like to join ur thread and I am happy to update here. I will try to be regular.
    Today i did 15 minutes treadmill and burnt 560 calories in elliptical.
    Had 1 cup boost before going to gym and for breakfast had bread toast. For lunch had 2 roti with curry and a cup of strawberry, peach, banana smoothie. Evening had a cup of payasam and for dinner will have poha.

    Hi Deepara - Welcome to the thread. Please keep updating and try doing the exercise every day even if it is for 10 mins. Every minute counts!!!

    My Update

    Yesterday - 15 mins treadmill (in the evening).

    Today - 10 mins exercise (anulom vilom and stretching) in the morning. Woke up late so could squeeze only 10 mins.

    15 minutes walk, started using stairs to reach office (3rd floor).

    Hope to keep up tomorrow!

    Hi today's update
    Burnt 400 calories in elliptical and did treadmill for 25 minutes burning 110 calories. Also i did stretch trainer for 10 minutes.

    My Update-Day 3

    10 minutes exercise in the morning. Again got up late. I think I will have to add 'waking up early' also in my 21 days challenge.

    Yesterday no evening exercise, since got home at 9.30 p.m.
