21 day Challenge - Buddies needed

    Hi everybody,
    I am starting this thread as everything else that I did for my weight loss has turned to naught. Why? Because I am never consistent. I have joined 2-3 threads in this forum, but I must admit that I was not consistent. I would be great for 2-3 days and then back to the square one.

    So picking a leaf out of 'The monk who sold his ferrari', I have decided to changed this habit :idea, a bit by bit and so I started this 21 day challenge as I have heard that it takes 21 days to make an new habit.

    My first 21 day challenge is exercising at least for 10 minutes everyday for 21 days, please note the stress on everyday. Yep that's right every single day.

    Please join me dear ladies in my challenge or make your own challenge or just for cheering us on!!!

    I have also heard that accountability helps in sticking to goals. So here I am, dear friends, accountable to myself and to all (which I have tried to run away for so long) :bonk:hide:

    Exercised in the morning for 15 minutes
    Exercises included pranayam and stretching.

    Hi,

    Me with the same case. Started posting in few threads and stoped due to diff reasons like busy work schedule etc.... But now i am very serious as my brother's marriage is on next month. Started my journey few days back with the following schedule.

    Diet
    Morning - 250ml hotwater with lemon and honey
    BF - Idly
    Lunch - 3 chapaties with curry
    Snacks - 2 biscuts
    Dinner - Ragi sankati with curry
    Water - 3lts
    Fruits - 1 mango
    Planning to add an apple daily ....

    Excersise - 20min walk in evening and 20 min streching and yoga

    Day 1 - Today didn't do any excersise in the morning, Will try to do that in evening.

    Starting weight - 60kgs (jun26)
    Goal - 2 - 3 kgs in 21 days

    Dear Sudha - Welcome to this thread. Congrats on taking the first step. Please keep updating your exercise regime. Dont worry about the end result coz I guess 21 days of anything would surely show result.

    Dear Twinkle - Welcome. I can very well understand that once we stop following our diet or exercise for any reason, it is very very difficult to get back on track. So kudos to you for taking the step. Please keep updating.

    Dear Pinky- Welcome to the thread. Yes it is good to post both diet and exercise, that way we are more accountable. Right now I have taken the challenge only to exercise 10 mins (taking baby steps- one at a time) so I will post only my exercise regime, but please feel free to take any challenge and post your updates.

    Hi,
    even I would like to join. As I want to reduce some kgs before my DD's first birthday.
    my weight: 79 Kgs. I want to reduce atleast 4 kgs. I started to walk for 10 minutes daily but not consistent in doing so. I want to make it as a habit and I have read that if we continue to do something for 21 days, it will become a habit. I am breast feeding my daughter but I see that it is no excuse for overeating. so posting daily diet will also help to be conscious about calorie intake.
    Today's diet:
    6 AM: one glass of horlicks
    9 AM: 4 dosas(I was hungry :( )
    12 PM: rice and poriyal
    4 PM: planning to eat biscuits and a cup of milk
    dinner no idea, have to decide only after going home.
