Bollywood: I liked Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Trapped, Badrinath ki Dulhaniya, Bareilly ki barfi, A Gentleman, Phillauri (for Anushka Sharma). Disappointed with Jab harry met sejal, Ae dil hai mushkil, Lipstick under my burkha, Mukti Bhavan Best Songs: Nazm nazm from Bareilly ki Barfi, Achcha chalta hun.. chhanna mereya from Ae dil hai mushkil But, I am yet to watch: Newton, Qarib qarib singlle, Tumhari Sulu, Ittefaq. If I have to pick one movie and one song: A Gentleman, Nazm nazm.
Nice list you got there, Rihana. Toilet -ek Prem katha came with lot of good reviews. Though its a true story and raw fact, I did not feel entertained watching it. Too boring for my taste. I'd rather read blogs or news about true stories. Not movies where I want to feel entertained. The other end of spectrum was a stupid movie Jab harry met sejal. Too many loopholes , absolutely ridiculous story-line. Bollywood has been disappointing in 2017 for me.
Oh yes !! Loved Vikram Vedha , just for Madhavan ,May be ??! Found Ami Tumi (Telugu )and death in the gunj (Hindi ) to be okay . Liked Tisca Chopras Chutney . Feel like 2017 dint really have much choice , been catching up on Bengali and Malayalam movies . Liked Chiriyakhana 1967 , Titli 2002.
