If her dad has the same hair, i don't think there is much u can change, as its genetic, you can cut a full fringe to make her forehead look less long and there are many remedies given to increase thickness, you should use the search function, and the top of this page and find threads which talk about hair thickness.

I don't think you should worry yet. When I was little I was bald until 18 month and then it came in over some months. As an adult I have had very thick hair but fine in texture. Just wait some time and see.

    Hi smilinggirl....

i too wanted to say the same as pinkrubies....if its genetic then there is nothing much you can do...
but as she grows up,you can try different haircuts that would make her hair come to the front and cover her forehead
other suggestion would be aplpying castor oil....if your LO ddoesn'ta catch cold often...you can aply castor oil everyday...i saw great changes within a month for my LO...

you mean , by tonsuring ... there are no evidence as such .
but shaving off the head once is good ... you may do it , No harm in doing so.

My parents didn't do that to me but I have heard some people say to do this. I see no logic to why it would help. On the other hand, you can put bows in if you have a little hair there.

Dear Smiling Girl....if you mean tonsuring, yes i too have heard many saying that the hair grows well/thick after tonsure...but as per hindu tradition,it is always recommended to remove off the birth hair(maybe to ward off something evil...i really dont know the reason :bonk)...but when we did once for our LO,the texture of her hair completely changed...i mean it was straight and silky before the tonsure....as of now,its rough and curly(kinda waves)...but donno whether its because of the change in her food habits or because she is out in the dust playing a lot....

but many still say that this too would change when we do tonsuring again....letme see...as per our custom,we do it trice....so letme check her hair.... :crazy
