    Hi,

My husband has an offer for 15000 QAR CTC all inclusive.. we have a 4 year old daughter who is studying in Kindergarten.

My husband is a Chartered Accountant with over 9 years experience... will this salary be enough?

Please reply on a urgent basis to decide upon the offer.

    Thanks,
    Arpana

15000 Qr is too less for a Chartered Accountant with 9 yrs experience.

    Dear Arpana,

    Welcome to Indus Ladies Community!!!

I too second Nivi's comment. 15000 QAR is very less for a CA with 9 years experience. And with a kid studying, it will be difficult to manage the expenses.

A decent Single Bedroom apartment will cost you around 4500 QAR and if you want to go for a double bedroom it may be from 5500 to 8000 QAR. If you want to put your daughter in Indian nursery, you may need to spend around 1000 QAR, including transportation. For British or other curriculum, it will be roughly around 2500 - 3000 QAR.

What they are offering you is very less. Do they provide you a car? If possible, negotiate with them. Finally, it is your decision based on your life style and other expenses.

15K ctc is cost to company not take home..you must get this clarified..ususally 15kCTC=12 K Take home.if you are already living in qatar you will know how to manage. But if he is coming on an employment for the first time then family visa elibibility neeeds to be checked .3 months ago it was 10K because the payslip doesnt show CTC but the take home.2nd issue will be accomodation .for family visa rental agreement with land lord is mandatory..so he should find accomodation in a flat for 1-2 year agreement @3000-4000PM for a 1 bed apartment.alternatively he can find an accomodation in a villa with 1 room-kitchen bath for 2000-3000 but it is difficult to get a proper rental agreement because of the mallu real estate mafia.if he is provided a company car and petrol at best you can save 5K maximum .
