Feels good to be in this part of forum. 10mins of silence helped me to calm my mind. Let this day be filled with joy and happiness

Attended a get together organised by neighbours. I met them after a year also. It reminds me how fast the time goes and we get busy into our daily life. But it was a great catch up.

I have planned a session on experiments for Beavers and the lady responsible for Monday session wanted me to run over the session with her. She came to my house. This is the first time I am meeting as we run Beavers on different days. She is a clinical psychologist, by looking at her and speaking to her, I felt that there is a serenity and calmness. She inspired me to think about how calmness can benefit not only ourselves but the others who are around us.

A few days ago teams were proposed in whatsapp for a game ..some write-up game.

A friend enthused: I will have Novalis in my team.

    (I am blush blush!)

He added further: when Nova writes LONG, half of them faint, half of them have severe convulsions. Extreme mental carnage, yet no blood, we still win!

Hmm, even recent friends know me too well by now.

DS took a test to join a math enrichment program and I volunteered to help out. I enjoyed the experience thoroughly. Now I am signed up to coach a class of young Math Olympiad aspirants this fall. I doubt it was wise to add another commitment to my already overcommitted calendar but speaking to the bright eager kids was so invigorating that I couldn't pass up the offer.
