Reading other people's positive tidbits and feeling good about it, is a positivity in itself. In this world full of friends, relatives and acquaintances who constantly crib and complain about their lives, seeing strangers encouraging each other through positive posts, uplifted my mood greatly. Thank you dear ladies !
I really need to start focusing on and noticing the positivities regularly, not only on the gentler days. Starting a 50 day challenge for myself. Hope to not miss any day.... Day 1 7/28 : Read a Famous Five (Enid Blyton) book online, just like that, for no reason. Not for nostalgia, nothing. Just read it. Day 2 7/29: Left a funny voice mail for friend, instead of simply hanging up.
Done few asanas today.. Slowly getting control on acidity.. gaining weight need a check on it.. the reasons I am guessing can be proved after few days.. Good morning everyone
Sunday - Discovered the therapeutic effects of weeding . Filled the entire yard waste bin after I trimmed the overgrown bushes all by myself. That my hands were sore as h** didnt bother me much . Almost felt like meditation. Decided to spend more time in the yard. Monday- Nice long chat with my friend during my lunch break .Good to hear her voice as always.
It's drizzling here. I have been longing for this, since it was too hot for the past few days. The sun has disappeared behind the clouds. The air has turned chill. Thunders here and there. Birds seeking a safe shelter. Women hurriedly removing dried up clothes from the terraces before they get drenched. Sitting by the window, watching all this, I'm contemplating on making some hot filter coffee. Simple pleasures of life
My saree organization is coming close to an end... Just four more sarees to iron and arrange in the shelves. I have been doing this project for months ... I have too many sarees ... right from my very first Bombay Dyeing saree that I got at 18, my first saree my husband got me from Vimal, the saree that I bought when I learnt I was going to be mom first time, the saree I bought, Vimal again, when I first came to Amrikaa, ... and all the sarees gifted by my relatives and friends.
