    Hi friends,

We all have some trick which we are sure will cheer DH. Share yours. Anything in an ordinary day which you are sure will make him happy? Simple things.

My DH for example, grins ever so widely at the cup of tea I make for him. I am happy it is as simple as that and thankful to him for that:)

Waiting to hear from you friends.

My DH gets cheered up if I just hold his hands and say "Everything will be alright".. he just needs someone to be with him.. then if I say something like teasing.. then he'll be cheered up.. other things are cuddling and telling "Love you".. then telling "Even when you are angry, you are looking manly and handsome".. :)

    Dear Polymorphic Sister,

Mine is as simple as yours, married for 14 years DH is a short tempered and -ve attitude person, Earlier when he is low or with anger I used to nag him or argue with him which will aggravate the situation, after 2/3 years I am clear by doing simple things calmly and quietly pleases him, as you mentioned depending on the situation even a favorite dish, serving food... makes the environment cool.

Thanks for the thread, let us hear from other sisters too

I don't know what is the secret in egg omelette.Whenever I make it with onions, coriander, etc.,he will be very happy.

    1. Maintaining a polite voice.

2.Praising his parents for one or two good qualities they have (Actually only one or two they have).

3.Surprise evening tiffin like bajji, murukku, vadai (All oily items)

    4.Unexpected hugs.

    5.Wearing a bright looking dress.

    6.Tasty dinner.

7.Handing over the TV remote to him.

Anything would do.Generally he is a cheerful person .So,it is easy to make him happy.

That is a really sweet thread polymorphic :) And very interesting replies :-D
Here's mine - He needs assurance every now and then that things will be alright. I say I'll take care of him no matter what..that does not put a smile on his face, but that at least gets him to cool down. After that I flash a plate of food - anything topped with cheese or fresh cream or just a nice and spicy Paneer dish. That will make him glow like a 1000w bulb ... lol
