    உன் பட்டு கைகள் நினைவில் இல்லை
    உன் இனிய குரல் நினைவில் இல்லை
    உன் சமையலின் சுவை நினைவில் இல்லை
    உன் புடவையின் மணம் நினைவில் இல்லை
    நீ சூடிய மலர்களின் நிறம் நினைவில் இல்லை

    உன் விருப்பங்கள் தெரிந்ததில்லை
    உன் கனவுகள் கேட்டதில்லை
    உன் சிந்தனைகள் அறிந்ததில்லை
    உன் இன்பங்கள் எண்ணியதில்லை
    உன் துன்பகள் புரிந்ததில்லை

    உன் அழகிய புன்னகையை ரசித்ததுண்டு
    உன் கைவேலைப்பாட்டை கற்றதுண்டு
    உன் இஷ்டதெய்வத்தை வழிபட்டதுண்டு
    உன் அறிவுரையை ஏற்றதுண்டு
    உன் குணத்தை போற்றியதுண்டு

    உன் தியாகங்கள் தெரிந்தது இன்று
    உன் வளர்ப்பும் புரிந்தது இன்று
    உன்னோடு பேசிய சிறு சிறு பேச்சுக்களும்
    கடைசியாய் நாம் வைத்த பந்தயமும்
    நிலையாய் நின்றன என் நினைவில் என்றும்...

    உன் மகளாய் நான் வாழ்ந்தது
    சிறிதே காலமெனினும்
    என் மகளின் வடிவில் நீ
    வலம் வருகிறாயோ என தோன்றினாலும்
    பொழுது விடியும் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும்
    உன் நினைவுடனேயே தொடங்குகிறது .....

    Super words and good poem on Mother.As Periamma said this poem can be dedicated to all mothers.

    Today I was thinking about her and missing her due to my brothers marriage and incidentally I came across this poem.

    I found this yellow rose today in my photo archives and wanted to share... I logged on to IL, read 'that' post, wondered if there was any poem too... Annnd there is one, that too with a connection to yellow rose (if am right!)......!! Now you know why I was excited in the morning... :)
