Hello Bujji - thank you so much for starting the thread. And thanks to everyone who have added their list of books for the year. I love reading books, but since the last couple of years my rate of reading has considerably gone down. This post really inspired me start reading more (and thus motivate others too I guess). I dont remember what I have read from the beinging of the year, but I will just add some that I definitely know I have read

    1. Pagan Stone (Nora Roberts)
    2. If tomorrow comes (Sidney Sheldon)
    3. Right Ho, Jeeves (P.G.Wodehouse)
    4. Shock (Robin Cook)
    5. Not without my daughter (Betty Mehmoody) - This is one most amazing books in non-fiction that I have read. It is the really story of a mother's struggle to come back to her own country and get freedom. She can get it but all alternatives point to only one way - she would have to let her daughter stay back.

One more thought just came in.. With some of you people giving reviews on the books atleast I came to know about more books.!!!

Finished "the city of djinns"- William Dalrymple
though non-fiction travelouge full of historical add ons, still a racy book.
    Reading The Impressionist -Hari Kunzru
and The men who ruled India- Phillip Mason
Both preindependence ones, but the first is fiction and set in 20th century
while the second is non fiction copious account of all the british administrators from 1600 onwards.
will be finishing eleven with these.
