    Dear Poo,
Besides adding vinegar, did you follow EVERY TIP? like chilling the paneer etc. then only kneading should have been insufficient.
But hand kneading is not sufficient for toned milk.
    Ghee is successful, good!:thumbsup
    So, better luck next time!!
    Love,
    Chithra.

It is all due to your following the recipes without introducing your personal changes!! That can be done once you get it perfect.
Nataraja needs to be pleased with Sweth going ahead "dancing" all her way!!
    Love,

Thanks, Shubha for your nice words!
4 hrs soaking is good enough. Soaking overnight is convenient, thats' all.
Even if the idli batter does not rise, if it ferments, the results are good.
Store-bought tamarind paste are less sour, usually!~
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Hello Mrs. C

This is the fb for foil baked rice and curry. No need to say the result was really good. Thought of making something simple and immediately this one came to my mind.

We had it with cucumber raitha. The aroma was filled in my apt. Adding peas and panner gave the crunchiness to it.

    Thanks a lot

    Regards
    GK

chithumma, i took a printout of ur recipe but i think i must have messed up somewhere, or maybe its the milk, i will try whole milk next time and only use a kneader or processor . shouldnt give up so easily!

    Hello Mami,
Made creamy carrot soup for dinner today. Very nice soup, very creamy and delicious. Potato adds a nice thickness to it, though the flavor is primarily carrot. Super!

Chander has started asking me during lunch itself "what soup are we having for dinner"!!! See how the men are being spoilt by you ;-)

    Cheers,
    Nithya
