What is the one thing that you wish your kids would do when they grow up? I am not talking about the big things like education or work, but something small that you would like to see them enjoy or do.
If response is to be limited to one thing, that would be to "think and vote" and be engaged at least to a small extent with the local, national and global issues. If more than one thing is allowed to be in the wish-list, then this is what I'd like to see them enjoy or do: Read Exercise without equipment (walk, run, jog)
Nice! That reminds me of another thing I often wish (sometimes curse) on my kids: "have kids just like you and may I live long enough to see my grandkids turn into teenagers."
Maybe i should have worded it differently, it can be more than one, but meant something lighter, anything that brings joy. I was going to post the following I wish my kid would still love some of the traditional indian dishes when she grows up. Be able to enjoy an Indian movie or music with me Will still display her love to me by a hug or kiss when grown up ( as this is not the case in my tradition)
Be happy n healthy, kind and empathetic towards people, love for family, and mostly to enjoy in what ever they do, Whether sports, music or studies. And not indulge in bad habits.
Growing up I was never much exposed to volunteering . Only after coming here I saw the passion with which people get involved in community services . I really want my daughter to find one such issue she deeply cares about and get involved in it seriously .
