Our God is strong and UP CM has told it in many words. He is going ahead with Navratri Fest from 25th March to 2nd April where millions will participate. This is necessary also because this year the clearance of Ram Temple in Ayodhya has been given. He says Ram will take care of everything.

Vaya con dios is a bad idea considering that the abovementioned dios is a figment of our collective imagination and whichever way we go we can convince ourselves we are going with god,

:hello:In respect of temples in Tamil Nadu and those under state government remain closed until further orders. I heard popular churches and other places of worship too remain closed.
    2. Other popular temples in places of pilgrimage in India including Thirupathy & Shirdi, either closed or advised devotees not to visit the temple for the present.
    3. Livelihood of sellers of flowers, coconuts and other prayer materials is lost. Those employed on daily wages in the vicinity of temples are finding difficult meet both ends.
    4. Funeral directors and their shops for hiring equipment’s and selling body-caskets are available.

Really sad state. In any crisis peoples whose lives depend on local businesses is badly affected. Even here many are losing jobs as local businesses are shut down

We are lucky (or unlucky) with regard to the maid too. Just before the notification on COVID 19 she suffered a tissue rupture in her right leg and we haven't seen her since.

Viswa nature is a delicate, fragile and intricate network. You play with some aspect of it , another aspect will be badly hit. It often acts like ninepins. Push one and the rest can fall. Yes you are right. God or no God, the mutated corona virus is nature's revenge on mankind for playing mischief with it.

True Kamala. Some never learn. If all those returning with infection from abroad had reported to authorities as soon as they arrived, we wouldn't be in such a mess now.

Very true Ignorance and Hubris are the two close buddies and aides of COVID 19. The arrogance of the upper classes, who have imported the virus into India with their jaunts abroad knows no limits. Many even though they knew they were infected didn't bother to report to authorities on arrival at airports. "It is only happening to others but will not happen to me" mentality is the bane of humanity. When we need to show solidarity and collective action, we display ego and selfishness.

When it comes to "affected" part let us start from the bottom of the social pyramid. The poor daily wagers have no work. Artisans like carpenters and painters are not earning. Many sectors have shut down. The poultry industry is either culling the chickens or giving them away for a song as demand has taken a nosedive. People in Nilgiris aren't coming to work at tea plantations and factories. Economy has gone for a toss greater than during demonetization. The only silver lining is the government envisages a massive investment in health infrastructure.
