That's why null needs to be used judiciously and sparingly.

Interesting to read about college days. I missed going to College because of financial problems and those days parents were not interested in their daughters going to college

Now a days it's a must to go to College and also be a working woman to stand on their own legs. But sad that some girls expect too much being a working woman and dont adjust.Earlier parents used to search for alliance for girls but now for boys
Sorry if it is out of subject and if I hurt anyone

If it is out-of-subject, it is in-subject for this thread.

Why sorry ... It is a valid point and an interesting one.

When the pendulum swings the other way, and girls get the upperhand in some communities, it can feel like the girls are not able or willing to adjust. Maybe adjustment happens only when one has less choice or no choice.

    Thanks yellowmango:)

I remember bunking college and going to a nearby mall and do
Window shopping all day!It was the most hep thing to do plus the free A/C..

we liked getting attention from guys..atleast that’s what we thought:p.They probably thought why these girls are dressed so gaudy and walking around, looking at them hee hee...We also did a lot Of “sight seeing”.

Hung out in coffee shops a lot!

Had a “vegetable croissant(?) With a plastic knife and spoon and thought we were pretty cool..

Who can forget eating pizza with ketchup!!we always thought pizza should be had with lot of ketchup and loved it!

Another thing we did was,All the time telling each other in our group that they are so pretty (coz no one else will tell us :D) we were our own cheerleaders..
It goes like this..using the “ya” language..
“Hi ya! You look so so cute ya!” “ you look so beautiful today ya ”..non stop appreciating each other everyday ha ha

Went to Afternoon discotheque (?) yeah that existed and saw a couple smooching.I was stunned and stood next them staring and staring at them:eek:..my friend dragged me away lol..wow that was so cheap of me but now I laugh when I think about it!

Everyday applying some sandal or turmeric or cucumber to clear the skin but magic happened only after I finished college:( I had acne in teens and was so impressed with girls with clear skin. After college, skin cleared up well but I wanted clear skin during teens..waaaahh!!

Dealing with a bully disguised as a friend..some well Wishers in college warned me about her but I was super soft and she was in the same class, and she was super rude..I was afraid to stop talking to her.She emotionally blackmailed me a lot.it was painful but now even that makes me smile..It now helps me to deal better with friendships..I need to thank her and her boy friends gang(another story) for being so mean coz they played a major part in fueling me to groom myself, get fitter,do better in other aspects..now even that pain seems like a pleasure:)

lot of things like that..can keep going on ..fond memories:)
