Chitvish ma'am @Chitvish wrote this article in 2006.
In this article she mentions her daughter's marriage and son also.

Sudha Murhty's daughter got married in 2009 and son got married in 2011.

Somewhere, somehow, by someone, this article must have been credited to Sudha Murthy.

I have read this thread and post long ago, and I forgot about it. It was nice of @Srama to remember and clarify this mistake. Many online quotes are done unwittingly and are being circulated. This one seems so.

@Chitvish Mam, I have read some of her food recipes and they are so awesome. If there is one place for me to check out recipes I check it here on her index.

I had read this in that http://indusladies.com/community/threads/pangs-of-parting.2150/page-3and I feel what @Chitvish ma'am wrote was her words only

[Thankyou very much for your nice words.
I cannot imagine that an old post written more than an year back, could elicit such a warm reply. That is because, the truth about "detached attachment" is eternal.
With both my children living in Chennai with their families, unless I practise what I have written, I would be feeling miserable permanently with one grievance or other based on an expectation. Since I am learning to be free from expecting anything from them, even a small gesture from them pleases me immensely !
What I have written, is gained by (purely) personal experience.
    Love,
    Chithra.]

Same problem with me I cannot act immediately when something like this happens. She must be giving a hype of her long trip by stopping by and showing off she’s giving away some goodies.
One experience is all u need to take an action for it to not repeat. And handle it smoothly and say things little sarcastically like don’t be so generous to drop by to leave the left overs my fridge is always full and she could use trash.
I don’t know why u kept that half cut tomato in ur fridge. That sounds gross.. to keep all leftovers which came from others fridge. Sometimes if I find old cut veggies in my fridge I don’t even think a second to trash them. Nowadays there’s ecoli outbreak and for tomatoes there’s some bacteria I don’t recollect now. So while kids r home it’s always better to use fresh food and have hygienic lifestyle. And don’t entertain left over junk to ur home. Say sorry politely and reject.

:hello:Is it credible that cut onion attracts bacteria & so can be kept in fridge to protect other foods and ingredients?
    Thanks and Regards.

    Dear friends,
This was written by me (and only me), as a reply to Ambika who wrote a post on this topic.
Later, I posted this on my facebook
Page after 3,4 yrs. Originally it was going as a whatsapp forward under my name. Then suddenly the name changed to Sudha Murthy. Many of my friends managed to get her email id and write to her. But there was no reply.
Frankly, Now I practise detachment from my own article, choicelessly .
    So be it!
