Try different variety of rice. There are short grained, long grained, fragrant, sticky etc
Try a different one from what you are eating now.

Rice + curd is good. Add avocado, it will help with constipation. Mash it or just give it in chunks. No banana. Give raisins.

What wheat atta are you using. Refined ones will cause constipation. All desi brand ones are refined. Get Redmills or King Arthurs variety.

Rice and roti is easy for us mothers, because we cook it for ourselves, take to potlucks, find it at desi buffets, and it is available when travelling to relative and in India.
But all this factors, do not make rice and roti, the best food available for young children- nor they are the worst. So, don't get disheartened. People in south America are growing Avocado just for supplying to US, entire countries are just catering to US market. You can get any thing...just about anything..here in US. So, don't worry, your child will find something nutritious, easy for your to prepare/ buy, to eat.
    Happy mothering!

Don't worry if she doesn't eat rice as itself. Like other posters suggested, there are so many South Indian and North Indian varieties you can incorporate rice.

Regarding constipation,is she getting enough healthy fats and vegetables?Since she likes chapatis, you can knead atta with prepared dal( good fibre) and also add some vegetables pureed or grated. Smear some desi ghee and give. Good for lunch box too.Include moderate amount of healthy fats like ghee, virgin coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil. You can also change to lactose free milk,if you feel milk is causing the constipation. Also take her to park regularly and make sure she gets some physical activities for sometime. It surely ensures hunger. All of the above helped with my son :)

give the child the job of rolling chappati's with some greens (like @yellowmango had suggested) that she likes. Roughage (fibrous vegetables), as well as dal would prevent constipation. The whole of the roti eating world is "regular" by doing this ..... or :p like south indians suspect, they are saving water by "going" only once a year.

If you are so concerned about your child eating rice, you can also make cooked rice - paratha: simply hiding cooked rice or pongal inside layers of rolled roti dough, before you make the parotta/paratha. Follow poha thepla or poha paratha recipes you can find on the internet.

Try prune juice for constipation. Or stewed prunes, by heating prunes with some water and give her. If she doesn’t like the taste add some sugar in it. how about giving her dosa or idli. Make dosas variations like adding tomato or paneer or veggies in the batter. I put lots of ghee and some cheese on top. Or u can make egg dosa too or egg roti, veggie roti, broccoli roti, spinach u can add to dosa batter or Chapathi dough
