I think Indian media is run to entertain teenagers on cellphone steroids :)
In US, tabloids in superstore shelves are not even glanced by regular storegoers. Serious dailies like NYT, WallStreet News, Washington Post, Newyorker etc do not run celebrity related news in main pages. So general public is not fed daily dose of what Tom Cruise ate on a day :) or what are the latest shenanigans of Kardashian clan (aka clowns).

But sports gets the max coverage in US culture. Here Sport stars have lot more fans/followers than Hollywood stars.

How is this news? Isn’t this just a tradition the many follow in India?

It’s definitely a tradition but according to this media celebs are not supposed to repeat stuff. They should wear something new always and never seen outfits

This I always wondered... so where do they keep every piece of clothing those 365 dresses a year and for 10 years...
Is everything buried in closets never to be worn again?

Maybe they auction it off? The really nice expensive pieces should have a chance to be worn again.
