Tough to sustain a high level of drama in a serial story.
I remembered that thread because of the Title's borrowing a country music song lyric line.

I haven’t seen the movie but searched it I got the gist of the reply I think. Essentially Saying OP prefers Naughty Remo to good boy Ambi ?
I was hoping the update would be about her finding happiness again with the nice husband and not the cheating friend . That would restore my faith in humanity I think. Alas We will never find out.

The Chinmayi hair pack thread making me so nostalgic with mention of hibiscus leaf, flower. I can still recall the texture of the leaf between fingers when plucking it, and the strong petals.

Love hibiscus flower, just got two plants in sale, end of season sale. Will keep it indoors, hopefully will survive.
The other one worthy of nostalgia is bougainvillea, kept looking for in summer. But was wondering how to bring it indoors, it is bigger

You can bonsai a Bougainvillea plant. youtube link.
Paper bougainvillea can tolerate somewhat lower temperatures.

    from the thread:
Sindoor In The Hair Parting Is Like Wedding Ring On Finger?
I have heard a variation of this story as well. In the old custom of primae nochtis (Le droit du Seigneur) from Europe, Persia and the middle east where the local fief, or king would deflower the girl before she goes off and gets married after the king/lord/fief had blessed her with a stamp/mark/sign high on her forehead. Never mind what material was used for that stamp. Eventually this practice morphed to blessing only the most desirable girls in the kingdom; after all, blessing all and sundry could tire a fellow out, no matter how brave a knight he be.

Vasily Polenov: Le droit du Seigneur (1874); a nineteenth-century artist's painting of an old man bringing his young daughters to their feudal lord.

well... I'd be darned. I have never heard that the density of the sindoor signalled the level of affection for the hubby.

Nice! I think the hibiscus is one of the most "happiest" looking of all flowers.

Traditionally the amount matters, some MIL tell/ order to fill the "part" all the way. I am guessing, the more the amount of powder, more will be the love bride has for husband... pun intended
