Dear Anika, Everyone has already given you different perspectives and their experiences. Please be calm and analyse what is that you are looking for 1: Getting the status of working women for the sake of the neighbours nagging. 2: You want to get out of your comfort zone and do something different. 3: The salary you get for the effort you put in. None of the people who nag you now will come to your help in difficult times. It is your personal choice to work or to stay at home. Even if you are not working, i think you have to get out of your comfort zone and try something else apart from zumba, yoga etc. Lot of times the same routine in the lifestyle would bring boredom for some people. Reread all the posts in the thread again. You will get very clear thoughts and the path you have to take.
How does everyone break a routine? My interests are the above mentioned..as of now trying hard to land the job which could work in our situation but apart from that how do people feel motivated throughout the day
One last thing anika here after i read your interests above . I promise no more pestering here . After reading above that you are very interested in zumba i am reminded of this lady in our apartment community . She started working as a zumba instructor almost an year ago in a nearby Y . I dont know her directly but heard about her journey. She has three kids between elementary to middle school. So after her kids she put up a lot of post pregnancy weight that was difficult to shed. She was very interested in dance so she took up zumba classes slowly in the Y . So after few years she shed all her weight and now she looks like a teenager . she was also like you very regular to her zumba classes and enjoyed dancing . Eventually she took zumba training classes and became a certified ZIN and started helping other senior instructors . After volunteering like this and assisting , Later she herself started leading the classes and some of the special classes of hers get sold for 15-20$ . She had taken in an assistant to help her who also recently got certified herself and on her way to do the same . This could be another option to look into since you are interested in dance and zumba . all the best , thanks for listening to my blabber .
This . Or yoga instructor I read long time back you trained as a classical dancer. These are your passions. If you feel like it ,you can train to be a teacher in any of these and make your passion your living .
Yes I agree ...mother is the one who has primary responsibility of kid...everyone will just comment on the employed or unemployed status of the mom, but when it comes of handling adverse situations no one will come to help..with all the household work, office pressure , deadlines, cooking etc along with looking after kid most working moms are too tired and overwhelmed ....a friend of mine is working, she has a toddler who goes to daycare..her baby fell sick and no one came to help, parents live far away and in laws are not ready to support...her husband travels and works long hours....to make things worse her maid took unplanned and uninformed leaves during this time...she struggled like anything..if a mom decides to sit at home and raise her baby and give attention during growing years, why does anyone else have a problem with it when the husband and wife have mutually agreed to this...if a woman works they'll ask her why she has to neglect her baby and go for work..if she sits at home she has to face taunts about being lazy etc..
How I wish I had read it long ago! 2. Zumba is just behind my backyard. 3. Shall suggest spouse and sure we spend our leisure usefully for others in the meanwhile see some more money. 4. Thanks for good response here not by any means a blabber. Regards. God - forgive my curiosity - how much you and your consort would be weighing in heavens and here on earth?
