    My Sister is in 13 th week of pregnency for 2 nd baby ..
    From Saturday she is having intermittent fever so doctor proscribed her Dolo 650
    From Yesterday Night some blisters are visible n Her Docter confirmed it as Chicken pox
    Is it affect the baby
    She is taking anti viral tab now is it fine to take tab now??

    Don't worry 2 of my friends had chicken pox in 8th month.both mom and baby are healthy..

    OP,
    Chicken pox during pregnancy is not always harmfull. My aunt had chicken pox when she was pregnant. Both are good and healthy now.
    Best is to take consultation from another gynocologist. Just follow what you doctor advised. Hope the doctor treating chicken pox is her gyn doctor. Refrain your sister from checking health advices during pregnancy. This is suggested by many doctors to stay positive during treatment period. Simply follow what doctor says.
