The title reminded me of your title "Spice , Sambandhi and Uppuma". :) Was it spice or spouse ? I have forgotten .:tongueclosed:
It's a scary incident though. Such incidents makes me believe me "God is there everywhere" - watching us and protecting us all the time. The sequence of events you have mentioned is nothing but his play.

    Dear Tyagarajan sir,
Great escape!!! I am glad you are all well.
Such incidents have no logical explanation. Except thanking God we cannot do anything.

    2. My lamby scooter days in New Delhi and then Bombay now Mumbai replete with several incidents sweet, sad and terrible too. (Sweet portions - excuse me - I shall not narrate now)
    3. Yes, my family and I & my kids met with such mighty terrible issues and incidents; and everytime saved by skin of our teeth.
    4. I believe in God and our stars both were always on our side which you would agree when you read other anecdotes listed under my profile search page bottom box.
    5. Spouse is always played and plays a predominant thoughtful role in our life and career. Anecdotes here including Spouse ,Sambandhi & Uppuma, one would find she is protagonist.
    6. Once I wrote to then TN CM that families middle class use scooter carrying the entire family including kids finds it difficult to carry helmet for all. A call from a rep of helmet manufacturer came asking suggestions for making designing small helmets for kids.
    7. It was month end for policemen. A marathi speaking police stopped me at an intersection asking for scooter papers and said I had committed traffic violation. His appendage(!) was collecting amount from other offenders at a distance. I was asked to report to him. I was going on an urgent mission to hospital. I went to the man he suggested and showed him some medical prescriptions and requested him to keep the vehicle with him, telling I have no money and going to hospital on an emergency. He permitted me to go with scooter to the amazement of other alleged offenders.
    8. In a blind narrow 's' curve I was riding slowly on a sat morning, keeping left with my daughter standing infront of me in scooter.
It was in a jiffy. A young mechanic in scooter came at racing speed on wrong side and about to collide head on. I could avert the collision, while he went and dashed against the Indian oil storage tank. The watchman and I helped him to nearby hospital for first aid, but he broke his leg and injured wrist. One fine evening limping toward me, he met at market; he profusely thanked me wondering how i could help him .
    9. After finish shopping, in a crowded place with spouse as pillion, i exited rapidly and chaotically and reached halfway home. At a traffic signal, I realised green saree wali missing. i had no pillion. Went back to market, in search of her and reached home fatigued. At the gates I saw With two heavily stuffed cloth bags, she was alighting from an auto. Silent treatment to me followed for few hours.
    10. With spouse went to a temple in the evening. When we returned after darshan after an hour or so to the parking lot, the scooter was missing. With lots of discomfiture lodged complaint to nearby police station and returned home when it was almost 10. She and I had missed a Radhika’s serial in sun TV.
But next morning the scooter was seen in front of my home with it’s key-bunch thrown near tulsi plant.
    11. It is said man or woman proposes; God disposes.
But in our case it is different. She propose economical option and I dispose. She says bus. I say taxi. She says train. I say uber. I said buy car. She said two wheeler and raised loan for lamby.
    12. Lamby lasted or we lasted with it for over half a decade with numerous cosmetics done to it from time to time; and then it cried for its disposal. Thanks to Indian express free classified in then Bombay I gave away her for Rs.2000.
    Regards.
God refines humanity in wheels within wheels.

    Dear Thyagarajan Sir,

It is subtlety. Here is the paragraph that leads to this example. I always love when theoretical write-up is supported by a practical experience thread.

"Most of the time, I get bogged down by the adversities in my life and how to handle them without realizing those adversities themselves may be coming my way to reveal something much larger than what I am worried about. Should I search the meaning of my life within such adversities? May be, I should. Every time, I thought something big as this is unsolvable in life, it got resolved in ways that I could never imagine. I am beginning to wonder whether I assume way too much credit for what happens around me rather than watching what happens and how my mind reacts to such happenings. Being observant to how things unfold, what words are uttered to me as advise, how I perceive things as it happens, what impact it creates to me and others around me, is much more important."

    1) You were not expecting a big explosion to happen
    2) In normal circumstances, you would have said to your son not to worry as it would settle on its own and you are there to protect him
    3) Your wife walked away from the scene to the fruit shop but gestured to you to move away
    4) You listened to both of them without any hesitation expecting not to be in the middle of altercation than a massive scale explosion.
    5) You even decided not to inflate the tubes in your two-wheeler.

When our attitude is to be observant to the events unfolding and listen to the words uttered to us, meaning focusing on the process than action, we begin to understand the purpose. It is subtle mind that was facilitated by the divine intervention through communication from your wife and son.
Instead of freezing on adversity, when we pay attention to the processes, subtlety takes over.

    Viswa

What a scary incident Thyagarajan sir. I can’t comprehend how it would have been for all involved. Glad that you and family made it safe.

Please do compile your God quotes and do starting adding to a new thread

:hello:when I responded in your other post "subtlety" that was the moment my thoughts went to this and my other escapes from macabre scenes or situations.
    2. But this one I had not written about in this forum.
    3. You had read- I escaped from bullets as a woman advocate "Mary" in heavy shower pulled & pushed me down from line of fired bullets from magistrate court's floor just above its facade. Power restored but before electrocuted bus's roof made contact with current carrying transmission cables, I escorted the old couple out of bus and I too alighted. The Jeep
All along performing well got stuck on busy railway tracks near vikhroli station. I was helped a points man named Kesari Nandan.
    4. From a falling debris from roof my daughter of 3 year old escaped. In the same dilapidated quarter, my spouse in balconied ground floor put clothes on dry line and just returned back to hall to hear only the debris impacting the railings and floor in balcony.
    5. A compartment AC before mine and three rear compartments derailed . Mine sat on rails. Then with family returning to Madras now named Chennai. we suffered continually for around 14 hours in train - read compartment - without water, no light or fan or food in hot summer near Andhra pradesh. It was all barren no moon light. A few injured were given medical first aid.
    6. In all these, I found the common denominator seems to be immense positivity subtlety & faith in cosmic force.
    8. Angel's every where including where eagles dare show their presence in good time to protect defend and preserve the lives.
I enjoy reading your entire FB vis a vis my own experiences of eerie macabre dangerous incidents.
    Regards.

    :hello:@Viswamitra
    In continuation to #16
The chief of all the shocking happenings, is that the Rat in cooker delayed and prevented my show at airport in time from being board the afternoon caravelle for Chennai. Thanks to lord Ganesha for His thoughtful sending His vehicle on that morning to her wardrobe and spotted by spouse & I, later in pressure cooker by my then Baba now grown up son.
    2. Incidentally that narration in
Tight Schedule- Spouse, Rat & 'craft
Won me the red banner here for the first time in IL.
    3. All is well in subtlety.

    OMG
This was such a scary event and escape by a hair's breadth!
This is intution ; Thank God for it and now we can ask whether science has been able to explain the constituents of these experiences!
Thank God , for your and your family's safety @Thyagarajan Sir!
    Sir,
Is that the mind or the heart, because there are times when the mind does ask us to labor on despite the intution and maybe we do regret later choosing the other option in the' Dilemma'

:hello:I happen to refer to Father of Nation’s autobiography “ My Experiments with Truth”. At one place he had said between matters of mundane and humane, he would listen to what heart says than the head. Here neither head nor my heart said anything to me but something impelled me to act as son and spouse wanted at that moment.

    2. I am not sure heart followed my spouse gesture. It is heard my crying son’s wish to leave the scene quickly.

    3. I did bit of googling and copied and pasted below about heart vis a vis mind (heart).

Quote (.) Researchers have now proven that the heart is 100x more powerful electrically, and up to 5,000x more powerful magnetically than the brain. Yes, the heart runs the show. It actually sends more messages to the brain than the brain does to the heart.

Listen to your heart, not to your head -- although, it would be more correct to say listen to your limbic brain, not to your cortex brain.
As Steve Jobs once said, “Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.

They somehow already know what you truly want to become.

Brain' Within Your Heart. ... Your heart actually contains neurons, similar to those in your brain, and your heart and brain are closely connected, creating a symbiotic emotional whole.

The heart is just a strong muscle that functions to pump blood all over the body. The heart has nerves that mainly sense pain, and changes in rate and rhythm of the heartbeat. We have an old brain or reptilian brainresponsible for survival. ... Love comes from the brain and can manifest itself in the heart.(Unquote).

    4. I feel I had done my best to answer query posed by you, but I expect more unravelling from professor @Viswamitra
    Thanks and Regards.

God is always at closer proximity to heart.
