:hello:You responded a tad soon I believe as few minutes before twice I had edited and re edited.
    2. Thanks for your response and glad you have been following the invective vitriolic humorist.
    3. Being a lawyer, he was able to twist skew things as necessary to reinforce his themes both in person and on stage. I have seen many of his political satires on stage including the one “mugamadhu bin Thuglak”. As a king he was issuing orders after orders that corruption is legalised and work wise how much bribe to be given at various levels.
    Thanks for nostalgia.
God plans to reintroduce barter trade in lieu of cash and cards so that donkeys can be bartered to ......:hello:

Cho comedy was a class in itself. While thinking of donkey, I am reminded Donkey Vahana' during Shakthi worship.

Even during Vedic age, areference to Donkey vahana is seen in scriptures.

Donkey Vahana for Indra: Atharva Veda A.V. 9-6-4

Donkey vahana for Agni: Aitareya Brahmana 4-9-1

Donkey Vahana for other Gods: AV 8-8-22

Jyeshta or Muthevi or Seetala Devi have donkey has her Vahana.

Shitala is represented as a young maiden crowned with a winnowing-fan, riding a donkey, holding a short broom (either to spread or dust off germs) and a pot full of pulses (the viruses) or cold water (a healing tool).

    Shitala is the form of folk demi-goddess Katyayani. She gives coolness to the patients of fever. According to Devi Mahatyam when a demon named Jvarasura gave bacterial fever to all the children, goddess Katyayani came in the form of Shitala to purify children`s blood and to destroy the bacteria of fever in blood. In Sanskrit 'jvara' means "fever" and 'shītala' means "coolness". Shitala is sometimes also depicted with Jvarasura, the fever demon;
We cannot set aside donkey and totally ignore.
For exercising'SWOT' mechanism( Strength, Weakness,Opportunities and Threat) the story of donkey is shown as the best example in all the famous business management Institutes worldwide.
An old donkey became weak and the care giver didn't want to keep the donkey and feed it.So he pushed the donkey in un unused well in the midnight and covered the same with loads of mud and went away.
With every layer of mud, the donkey shirked the mud and came an inch above. As each load of mud was used to cover the donkey as death trap, the donkey used the same as stepping stone to rise above,In the early morning donkey was just standing out.God has some purpose in creating every creature.

:hello: That is nice valid thought ptovoking point. To stretch it further:
    2. There is no need field any candidate. Afterall dogmas and manifestos are of political parties. So why people should not vote for a party instead of a candidate.
    3. No caste no clan no religions no muscle power no money power of individuals absence of whih might reduce the security and election expense besides pave way for free a d fair election indeed.
    4. Why the need too appease x , y and z?
In prolortion to Total volts polled for each party , it can have selected members from their party to represent in parliament.

    Thanks and regards.
    God is not against opposition

Few days after this appeared in times of India, a series of raids by income tax department became order of the day. Depicting this event a cartoon appeared indicating homes of IT officers who were sent ON RAIDS WERE RAIDED BY CBI AND over phone they exchanged greetings later.
    Thanks for nostalgia.
    Regards.
God too came so true in cartoons.

    Dear
    Dear Shri Thyagarajan,
The suggestion in para 2 of your response may not be possible in India which has parliamentary Democracy.
In Presidential form of Govt like US, the case is entirely different.
One drawback of the Indian election system is that the people don’t have the choice to elect their leaders directly. The problem is, in our country people don’t have a proper idea about the power of politics. And it is this ignorance about politics that the politicians try to take advantage of, and that’s the point where corruption is born. To be a true democratic country, we should try to understand what politics can really do, rather than looking at it in a negative eye.
