    Hello,

I have asked a few questions here already and have had good answers so far ...and is helping me a lot with taking a call on things.

I am a very hands-on person and love doings cooking from scratch and try that whenever I can even though I was studying, managing home and stayed in a joint family. However, it is catching up and I finally thawed and decided I should give a little break for myself and go easy where I can.

So, I have used a Food Processor before and did not find it very useful for Indian Kitchen Requirements .... but in some areas it does help. I used one during the early stages of FP and now it is a lot better too. So I am assuming it is more useful, albeit not a complete replacement - like I said, giving myself some room :p

So, I have been checking a lot of options and felt the mixer grinder cum FP can save space by doubling up and also the new sleek design occupies much lesser space than the original design where the FP jar was used adjacent to mixer jar - yes, the model is still available now, but we can choose between sleek and bulk options :D

I always wanted Sumeet Mixie, but now even after relaunch service has become questionable as they were off in between before coming back again. What do you think? Are they back on full?

I am liking Sujatha Mixer as I see it in almost all shops n restaurants - so it is a hard worker. Almost equal to or better than Sumeet ... so, if I go for this, what model is ideal for home use? I have a lot of juices especially carrots, beets with coconut, so a jar that gives the extract without me having to filter will be nice. So the powermatic looks bulky, so am considering Buy Sujata MegaMix MM 900-Watt Mixer Grinder (White) Online at Low Prices in India - Amazon.in style, but it has only one jar. So, am looking for this combined with this Buy SUJATA 4 in 1 Mixer Grinder (White) Online at Low Prices in India - Amazon.in but not sure if the juicer jar works here or if there's an option that will have it all :p

As for FP, I am liking Preethi / Philips though Bosch is my favorite. I am thinking Bosch needs a little more time to fine tune their FP though their mixers are great. So, I am thinking if I should go for a mixer from either Bosch or Sujatha and buy a FP separately, or can Preethi Zodiac effectively do all the work? Buy Preethi Zodiac MG 218 750-Watt Mixer Grinder with 5 Jars (Black/Light Grey) Online at Low Prices in India - Amazon.in

    So, what do you suggest?

Also, what FP do you recommend? I have heard good things about Panasonic & Rico. I am interested in Rico as it is an Indian brand. Is it any good?

Also, your experience with after sales service? Because Inalsa isn't good for service unlike Philips / Preethi where service was easy. B & D / Morphy is challenging too, though Panasonic isn't much difficult but not available almost everywhere like Philips / Preethi.

TIA for all your Help :)

I have heard good reviews about Preethi mixer cum food processor. I have a Kenmore food processor which I occasionally use. Mainly for kneading atta/maida.

Thanks a lot. Yes, I am hearing good things about Preethi too and I have used their mixer grinder with good results. So hoping it will extend to their FP.
