    I agree, i also read somewhere that it takes three weeks to also show the upward trend in weight gain! So i go by that thumb rule and if supposing i overeat today , i feel i have a three week window to push it off ;).

    @shodin, from one of my fitness freak friend I heard that, your weight numbers will change upto 500-600gms too if it is after meals..

    Official and social situations are injurious to a diet. Today was a whole day training session with lunch. Even if one eats conservatively, it is not like eating at home. One is left with a heavy feeling.

    So today:

    Breakfast: Coffee, rava dosa
    Mid morning: 1/2 cup coffee
    Lunch: Jeera rice, pineapple raita, 4 pieces of paneer makhani, dal makhani
    Afternoon: 1/2 cup coffee, 1 piece jackfruit, a few grapes
    Dinner: Curd rice, kadhi, mixed vegetable

    hi all,
    Hope all are doing good. Friday and Saturday I couldn't come here.

    My yesterday's menu
    BF Idly chutney
    Mid morning-strawberry apple orange grapes and carrot smoothie
    Lunch rice + broccoli stir fry with onion and tomato, mid evening 3 to 4 pcs jack fruit, Dinner Mushroom soup + broccoli stir fry.

    Bf : idly podi and paalak daal
    Mid morning : apple and orange
    Lunch Kambu koozhu with grated carrot shallot and greenchilly
    Dinner : Gothambu pathiri with onion and green chilly and chicken curry

    @satchitananda my cardiologist says some days the body tends to retain more water than other days, for no reason. just being consistent and careful about the salt and salt in pickles help..

    lovely plates, @shodin.. those colorful plates emphasise the reason we started the thread, why does healthy eating need to be boring.. or diet food be bland..

    eating healthy, eating right is a lifestyle change for the better..

    inspiring to see some of the food plates..

    So the better half, had a spasm, and the bosses follow a spiritual guru, and his yoga, and Ayurveda is very famous in these parts, so he was asked to visit them. the dr just held the pulse and told a lot and said our diet is fine..for a change the dr had nothing to change in our diet..
