    ohhh so yum yum colorful smoothie and no words to say about idichakkai and paneer capsi. Weight fluctuation will be there. Every day will not be the same. Some days our mood is to eat. some days we will be into clean eating habits. Make entry here which will be motivation for all of us and also ideas we will get and no need to think what to cook :BangHead:everyday.

    True Shodin, weight fluctuation is normal. But a kilo overnight??? Really weird.

    I think with age, and slowing of metabolic rates, this kind of fluctuation is observed.
    I for one, had never experienced it earlier, but now do think that i also go through such wild fluctuations.
    Also the weight fluctuation to total weight ratio also might also have a say in the amount of 'absolute weight' which fluctuates

    True, this has always been a problem with me, but at least there was a downward trend. Right now, despite being so controlled, there seems to be no change. That is why I am feeling frustrated. Waiting for the lift to be fitted, so I can go downstairs everyday and go for a walk.

    In my experience weight doesn't come off linearly. It takes a minimum of three weeks of proper logging to break through the fluctuations due to diet and hormones and see an actual decrease. Take a break from the scale for a few weeks and focus only on eating right. Once it starts dropping you will see a sustained downward trend. I think of it like pushing a big rock off a mountain. The initial push to dislodge the rock takes an enormous amount of strength but once it starts rolling down it does so off its own momentum.
