    I want to bring up my kids .They should be stable to earn and take care of them self.

    Yes that's true.
    Sometimes I just feel so scared while serving the dish and I would wait as though I have written my board exams and waiting for result.
    I remember once I started shivering ....And panicked like anything...
    I never wanted to and I was Not able to understand why was I in that situation.

    Meethi having an eye on her MILs jewellery is not good..and we should not please anyone for our gain..If at all we have to please then that should definetly be to get their love.
    Like do anything for a person whom you love so much!!!

    Even though my mil is very appreciative of my cooking skills, everytime she will find some fault or the other. I have learnt to ignore that as a part of life and out of respect and belief system, I ignore faults in her cooking.

    Great thoughts, Ammu.

    In this story, Meethi's character is fairly immature and as a north Indian, she finds her mil's south Indian jewellery design exotic and wants to flaunt it. I guess her greed is quite normal. Working hard towards someone's love requires basic admiration towards that person. Generally nobody admires a mil even if she is accomplished. In Hindi there is a saying which can be translated as, food cooked at home, even if it is chicken, seems less tasty and is like plain insipid lentils compared to any other food in a posh restaurant!
