    Yes, you spoke my mind. OP, just bear with it, find out other ways. Take the spiritual path if you believe in it. Find some other hobby, but don't take the suicide route. If you can, butter her and try to placate her. Though it sounds bad, it isn't and this is what most women I have seen do. And they even get praised for it. If she still continues this way, karma will catch up with her. Just don't lose faith in yourself and God.

    glad to see the title has been changed. That itself points to the positivity. I deferred writing further as all the above have already given you very good advice. No problem in life is insurmountable , least of it - differences with your MIL. My only advise would be be - just look up the Serenity prayer- it is a guide for all , no matter what the circumstances. Do send us a line in response.
