Your 1st Impression of Indusladies? (in 50 words or less)

Well well well TBH.....!I stumbled into this site by pure accident while i was searching for a different article in google...!and i found one such article or a thread to be precise quite inquisitive....and then on itz been quite impressive to read all threads...hoping to a bunch of surprises ahead..!and last but not least im here coz i jzt wanna xplore people☺️

I have been a silent reader for years but finally signed up now.

 

Finally joined this forum. Mostly I use to visit like a guest and fly off. Now I want to take active participation too.

 

I as interested in paintings and came across some beautiful sketches. Really good ones. Though I only appreciate good work and not an artist myself, it was good to see the collections uploaded by others.

 

A good platform to share thoughts or debate on an issue. There are some genuine thoughts by ILs, but mostly ILs are hesitant to touch on controversial topics. I enjoyed some of the ILs open, thought provoking discussion going out of the comfort zone. Some ILs take debates very personal and it is obvious that they get very upset when one IL differs in his/her views.

Comparing two threads, I was appalled to see the bias, especially, when a son expected help from parents in spite of helping them versus children’s duty to care of the parents. Quite a bit of gender bias towards men/boys.

ILs wants to be progressive yet justify the ills of the society like caste system (taken abroad), dowry system or arranged marriages.

 

An awesome community of ladies with lots of shared wisdom and love.
