அழகு ஓவியம்

பச்சை கம்பளம் விரிந்து கிடக்க
ஒற்றை தாமரை ஒன்று
ஒய்யாரமா தலை நிமிர்ந்து நிற்க
செக்க சிவந்த வானத்தில்
செங்கதிர்களை பரப்பிய வண்ணம்
கதிரவன் தன் முகம் காட்ட
மன்னவனை கண்டு மயங்காமல்
சிறிதும் தயங்காமல்
தன் அன்பு (அம்பு ) பார்வையை வீச
தாமரைப் பெண்ணின் திமிர் கண்டு
சினத்தால் முகம் சிவந்து
நீலவண்ண திரையில்
தன் கதிர் எனும் தூரிகை கொண்டு
வண்ணமிகு சித்திரம் தீட்டும் அழகு
காண கண்கள் ஆயிரம் வேண்டும்

Theme of the poem
The Green leaves are compared to carpet.
A single Lotus stands on the green carpet with Pride and Beauty.sun come out of the clouds showing it's face spread out its hands(Rays ) throwing Light.Lotus looks at the sun without any fear or hesitation with Love in her eyes. seeing this the sun gets angry and draw a beautiful painting on the blue sky with his rays.we need Thousand eyes to enjoy this beauty .This is what i have written in Tamil.i have translated to some extent.
