    Impeachment is a trap which President Trump wants the Dems to fall into. That is precisely why he is removing Jeff Sessions and have Dems get all excited about the Mueller probe. Remember he is all about himself and he doesn't care about Dems or Republicans. His only focus now is to win 2020.

    More bad news - RBG is in the hospital. I hope she can do this for two more years. I'd hate a polarized SC.

    With the Democratic House majority, there is a lot of talk about who the next Speaker of the house is going to be. I've not paid too much attention to Nancy Pelosi other than the fact that everyone dislikes her. I heard her talk a few times and have always felt she is a balanced and rational person. Someone who is good at what she does. My DH for whatever reason doesn't like her. I was reading this today and felt like it outlines her well.

    Thoughts?

    Suspect Arrested in Shooting Death of California Police Officer

    Officer Ronil Singh, 33, of the Newman Police Department in California was fatally shot after he pulled a driver over. He leaves behind his wife and 5 month old son. Singh was an immigrant from Fiji.

    His killer was Gustavo Perez Arriaga, an undocumented immigrant from Mexico with two previous DUI arrests.

    Question: In CA how do people open bank accounts?
    I went with my DD last year to open her bank account. I’ve been a customer since before she was born. I was asked for her immigration status by three different bank employees before they opened her high schooler account. So how do banks/mortgage people etc in CA decide who is a permanent resident/citizen vs who is not?
