Hi all, I am planning to go for a trip this December.. Around Christmas. Me, DH and 5 year old DS will be going. I have visited East coast. I am yet to see Florida and west coast. I amnot sure how the weather and crowd will be there in Disney during Christmas/new year. I heard there will be a lot of crowd and it's expensive around that time. Is that true? Am I planning it very late? Heard that we can't get the fast passes if we don't plan earlier. I am yet to understand all those Disney stuff yet. I am here to get some inputs on the weather about west coast in December? Is it worth to go for a trip there during winter? When is the right time to visit there? What are the must see places in West coast? I may plan for 2 weeks trip. If you suggest to go with Florida, what are the other places in Florida other than Disney? Any input is appreciated. Thank you.
Florida - 1) beaches 2) Disney 3) sea world 4) universal studios 5) kenndKe space center 1 day 6) aquariums up 7) national parks Theme parks would take you 5 days fully. If you don't mind waiting in queue for rides. West coast Weather in West coast depends. Bay area and LA or not so chilly. But up town like Seattle are cold. 1) SFO - 3 days 2) LA - 3 days 3) San Diego - 2 days 4) Las Vegas - 1 - 2 days 5) grand canyon and other national parks must be very cold. Florida is a good choice.
U r not late on planning . Disney u will need 5 days if u want to do all parks and no rush and it minimum 5days since your little one with height limit so some rides he can’t but there is much to do.. Disney is busy all year around but dec is good time bcz it’s all festive and has night time fun.. it is expensive even if u plan ahead too so don’t think . Fast pass yes it does fill up soon but it’s ok u can manage without it .
Thank you so much for the reply. Yeah..it's expensive whenever we plan...doesn't matter if we plan earlier though.. Is there any way to see the rides online? So that, I can shortlist the rides which my kid can go...is it available after we book tickets? Any idea?
Yes go on the Disney website or Disney app.. app is best u will need it. It will tell u the time wait for the ride and has all u need to know.. if he loves character to greet them u will see it all..
