    Hiiii @nandinimithun, How are you?
I recently read "The Palace of Illusions". Yes, it definitely lived up to my expectations. It's actually the rendition of Mahabharata in Draupadi's view point. I like reading historical fictions so I picked this one. The novel is very emotional and gripping and at times brought years in my eyes. I was amazed by the the way Draupadi's character is developed and maintained till the end as a strong woman with a brave heart who is fearless and positive in every aspect of her life. Draupadi is the narrator of the story. It's a very beautiful novel and quiet inspiring.
My next book on the list is " The Financial Expert"- R.K.Narayan.

Hi dear @teenulahari, am good and how are you....
Yes, i have heard a lot about the book ‘ Palace of illusions’ want to read it sometime.... I enjoh reading historical fictions too, especially when its told from an unheard character’s point of view....
It reminds me that, Kavita Kane’s ‘ Karna’s wife’ was brilliant, the story is narrated from Uruvi( karna’s wife) point of view.
I also enjoyed Anand Neelakantan’s ‘ Asura the tale of the vanquished’
Next on my list is a handful of books from kavita kane,
    Sita’s sister
    Menaka’s choice
    Fishermen’s queen

@teenulahari am sure you will love kavita kane’s books too....
I have heard that prathibha ray’s “yagnaseni” is a wonderful read too, again from draupadi’s point of view....
