    @beautifullife30
    Dear Mommy (let me address you by your favourite name)
    I need no other motivation than the presence of lizards to visit any house!
    Isn't it surprising that humans are the only inhabitants of our planet that cook their food before consuming it. Several years back, my guru told me that cooking spoiled the nutrision content of the food. He would invite us for a weekly lunch in his ashram to eat his uncooked food. Initially there was a big crowd and in about four weeks later, the crowd became much thinner. We may cook the food before we offer them to our pets like cats and dogs but left to themselves they would prefer them raw.
    This is quite intriguing that people are prepared to put up with awful cokroaches and rats but not lizards. We see on TV tigers chasing antelops and tearing them to pieces before having a lunch of them but we do not like the lizards which clean our houses of all insects.
    Now that's very annoying. They have no business to crawl around on floors. Now I understand your dislike for them. They are not playing fair at all!

    Dear Mr Cheeniya,
    Thanks for sharing the mythological reference to lizard. So sad that Bhishma had to under go the cruciating pain before his death due to the lizard's curse.

    @PushpavalliSrinivasan
    Dear PS
    Even Bhishma had to pay a price for a lizard's curse. Who are we then!

    Dear Mr Cheeniya,
    Thanks a lot for your prompt reply. I pray to Lord Almighty for your good health and hope that you will back to normal soon so that we can enjoy your senile ramblings.
    Am I too selfish in my prayer? God bless us to be self reliant as long as we live and not a burden to others.
    PS
