@Laks09, Thanks for reminding me. The early voting started in Florida as well on October 22nd. It is better to early and caste the vote rather than waiting until the actual election day. Viswa
I sent in an absentee ballot. I won't be here on Election Day and it's for the better as my head would probably explode otherwise.
I do prefer voting on the actual day though. It is thrilling to see a peaceful democracy in action and I thank my stars for being fortunate to live in a county without any election shenanigans. The polling place is literally 3 houses away so we get to catch up with our neighbors too.
I am so happy that we performed the most important civic duty today. Early voting polling booths were wide open with people trickling in one at a time. It was so easy to vote and there were so many staff members warmly welcoming the voters.
I'm volunteering as a poll worker. : ) Took a day off for it. If you are in CA remember state law allows you to take 2 hours at the beginning or end of the work day to vote. My vote won't change the outcome at the federal level (deep blue state) but we have a bunch of ballot measures that I'm following with interest.
Happy November folks! Beto is trailing by only 3.6% and is within the margin of error now. A lot depends on voter turnout. I'm looking at the list of registered dem voter friends around me and pushing them to go before polls close tomorrow for early voting. You won't believe the amount of registered Republicans amongst the Desis here. Time to retake the house and get that house majority taken care of!
@Laks09, This Trumkin looks even better than Trump baby balloon but unfortunately, the baby balloon irritated him the most. Viswa
That’s wonderful! But it will be a long day at least 16 hours so be prepared. You may have to take wed off too to recover.
