    Dear Vijiakka,

    Mostly the children learn from our actions and demeanor. You and Mr. Iyer are great role models for anyone to emulate. No wonder, they all turned out to be so successful. Like what Vani said above, there is so much to learn from the children. I always believe the children are a gift and we hold them as a trustee. They have come to pursue their own agenda and the parents job is to create a nice environment filled with a lot of love.

    Quite true the words of experience straight from your heart.
    The nurturing of children when we were young ought to have been far easier vis-a-vis the modern mother and present day children given the competitive world.

    My Dear Meri Pyaari Viji, I only clicked Like and postponed a response because last week I yelled at kid more than usual. :neutral: Ended with, 'when we were your age, would have got two thappads (slaps) by now..' Went through the entire cycle of logical points, yelling, threatening, even while knowing it is of no use.

    True, no point getting angry. But by God, it feels good sometimes.

    Hats off to both of you Vijima! It could not have been easy bringing up 3 kids with so little age difference. Am sure Mama was a strict disciplinarian and that both of you would have brought them up with the best values parents can impart to their kids.
