Hi OP,
There are so many service apartments available in major cities. Even if not, you can stay in hotel rather than investing money purchase a flat just for few weeks stay when you visit.

If you're still dealing with $100K debt based on your previous post, additional 30 lacs initial investment for a few weeks stay is a grave idea.

we are going to rent a service apartment for our stay.

FYI - We have some money close 25 Lakh in India in savings, we are planning to use this money for buying a home there.
