Toughest task in the world is to be a mother, bt it is more toughest to endure negligency from children and most toughest task to live in old age home in the same city ( where childen live). I think to be a woman is really very very toughest because she has to compromise from childhood up to old age even and hv to bear physically and mentally as well.

From the time a woman becomes pregnant, her sleep and time and health are the first things that she offers her future offspring....even after having a child, bringing up him or her is big challenge..
During pregnancy, all show concern for the woman, they tell her to eat properly, sleep properly, pamper her with her favourite food, favourite stuff etc..but later on, her health is most neglected as her energies are all spent on looking after her household, kids and entire family.. Most moms get hardly 5-6 hours sleep as they are busy juggling different roles., and they do it happily..A mother should be given many occasions to be pampered and in general family members should value and respect the woman of the house for all the work that she is doing and ensure she is not over worked or undervalued..

    :hello:@periamma
When 'baby' before to be delivered asked with concern to God in Heaven, how she would manage with earthlings without His presence - God answered that since it would be tad difficult to be present close to all babies He had created Mothers. That's why Mothers always could bear all hardships from point of conceiving till her last breath. She constantly preserves, protects, defends, guides and guards all members of her family.
    Regards.

While pages and pages have been written in appreciation of motherhood, it is doubtful whether she receives the treatment she deserves.Especially in poor families ,the mother has to go to labour work either taking or leaving the breast fed baby. The plight of construction workers is worse. There are evil eyes secretly enjoying while she feeds the baby.In construction sites I have seen babies sleeping into cloth cradles hung from trees.Children have to inhale the dusty air emanating from cement and are affected by lung infection, diarrohea etc.many have to tolerate drunken husbands ,work overtime to bring up kids.Only among elite circles we haer all about'Nareemtu naarayanee'.In poor families, it is not even lip service.
Mothers are born to suffer'-This is the unwritten destiny.Women from lower strata of society also are equally affected with ovarian/breast cancer .Essays can be enjoyed, admired and appreciated but offer no solace to the suffering victims.
