I am not talking about dark vs fair.

I had a . brighter complexion back in India.Somehow, despite going in car in the USA,the complexion looks dull.I never even used to apply sunscreens back in ur country. Also, everytime I go and come back from India, people say"you look so bright"..

Is it the weather,or since we sweat out our toxins there, elaxed mind set..
    what changed

How can I regain whatever original skin color I once had?

I have the same exact problem. everyone tells me my skin glows and that I am lighter in complexion after coming back from India. I do see a lot of tan from sun here. I don't sweat as much as I do in India.

I think my skin dries out here, so I hydrate like my life depends on it. And using face oil like this one: Sunshine Oil - MILK MAKEUP | Sephora

I feel like the Sun rays are stronger here (less pollution? I don't know), so I also use BB cream, with sunscreen.

I think the lack of sweat makes a big difference. You could try one of the face steamers- it could help.

I think the sweating is what makes the difference. I am from Chennai and I don't even go by car... I ride my scooty around...sweat buckets and it is like a natural facial thing?

Here, I have to keep constantly moisturizing and agree with BhumiBabe.... just sitting in the backyard the other day, combing my daughter's hair gave me a sunburn.... my cheek and nose were red!!

Actually I guess it's the hard water... I am facing issue with hair loss.. and rough skin..
Try using natural products like green gram flour as scrub once in a while.
