Any Ideas - Need To Drive Truck From South Dakota To Texas

    hello

    My friends are moving from South Dakota to Texas. They will have people load things onto a uhaul but is there anyone that can drive the truck to Texas ? How would you approach this issue ?

    For those prices one might as well hire a moving company. We have driven U-Hauls for a 4 hour move. It takes a bit of getting used to but is not all that difficult to drive.

    You can split up the drive to 2 days. Or more, if you want to. Mine was an 8 hour drive, but I decided to split it up because it was just me driving. Hotels and motels are ok with parking the vehicle, so it's really not a problem. If you prefer someone else to drive, it makes more sense to hire a moving company. It ends up costing the same or less, because the movers will take care of truck, room cost, gas, etc.
