    :hello: To be frank with you, those days I could enjoy that particular song for it’s timbre and tone - baritone at that and was ignorant of chaste Hindhi .
    Thanks for your appreciation.
    Regards.

    Your narration is so good that each and every scene could be visualized. The heading prompted me to read the snippet. I usually just read the write up without thinking about the climax, which here was funny as well as little sad.

    Please share many such memorable incidents of your life whenever you get time.

    HAHAHA, stressful indeed :-D So beautifully written, waiting with anxiety for the arrival of new-born. This reminded me of the passage from "The English Teacher" by RK Narayan. He so beautifully describes his anxiety awaiting the arrival of his wife Suseela with their baby daughter accompanied by his Father-In-Law.

    @Thyagarajan ,

    Light In! Darkness out!
    Train's whistle in! Cooker's whistle out!
    NS and Raji in! Melancholy out!
    Baby in! Emptiness out!
    Sambar In! Rice out!

    Shouldn't the lively connoisseur/humming bawarchi in you rather be singing Bhor Aai Gaya Adhiyar (translate: light in, darkness out).

    Yumly! Semiya payasam messes up my resolve to abstain from sweets because I cannot resist it.

    Long ago, I had been to Paris, France tour. The Louvre was a photostop as we were not keen to smile back at Ms Lisa. Later, I realized that the eaves encircling the museum were the statues of famous personalities. One such majestic pose was that of Denis Papin. That Papin is seen holding some form of a piston.

    upload_2018-5-22_11-1-21.png

    He worked on steam and pressure and tried to forge brave function out of that combination. He invented steam digestor to soften the fat of animal bones which is the progenitor of modern pressure cooker. He is seen holding an empty piston with great potential wanting to do something...to fill the kora kagaz with his creative spur. Louvre honored the man with his piston and creative ambition. Thyagu ..with joy and song and steam also wanted to do much more after the beans curry, churned curd, pacchadi, sambar but alas! he is seen holding a rice cooker with no water.

    Your cooker was empty with no steam, nevertheless your blog is steamful of inimitable Papinian humor.
