    Cooked rice yields soft idlis, however this is optional....
    My idli batter is for 2-3 days thats it...
    I dont prepare dosas from idli batter....

    Ok Thanks for clarifying. We usually use the same idli batter for idli dosa kuzhi paniyaarams and stays for a week. So I was skeptical using cooked rice
