We are planning to change the curtains in our flat. Can anyone tell me which shops have a good range of curtains and also if they have a tailor who can come home and take the exact measurements and stitch the curtains as well.

We have been told that M A Jacobs and Vishwesh Textiles are the best, but also they are costly.

    Please so share your experiance.

    Thanks in advance

    rkg,

Last month i saw ads for discount with rastogi's on their some anniversary..they have good collection and are one of the few bests.

You can also check out glamorama, alwarpet high end..

fabindia also has some good homefurnishings..

in south chennai, adambakkam richard homes does a good job..

there is another one in adyar, who does a good job...

i have not made curtains, as my fil fell in love with blinds..i have fabric blinds and for the past 2 years they are doing fine..

you get fabric blinds both roller and vertical. i had it for around 8yrs. washed them and fixed them myself.. check with curtain people they will have options. complete blackout curtains to bamboo..

you can go to curtain specialists like rastogi, smartdecor pr fusioncutains or richards too.
