Hi Shanvy, Thanks a lot for your tips Yes sometimes i too go to movies alone.. when I feel like going out within the city and no one accompanies me I start off.. but it feels good actually since we have the freedom and the personal space for ourselve.. the article that you have shared is superb. Thanks a lot
@Star25, I've done a fair bit of solo travel in India and never had a problem. If you have wanderlust, go for it. I like company and would rather travel with friends and/or family than alone. Maybe we could plan an ILite travel group and explore the world together.
OP - you can check out sites that takes groups on trips (not tours) like trekking, etc. I have been on 1 site and it's really good as almost all group members are decent people coming from different backgrounds. Am not sure whether I can mention site name here, so not mentioning. If you want to know, pm me. Also there are do many solo female travelers in India inspiring us all. Google!
Amica, I too love to travel with friends and family only but they are busy that's why thought to travel alone without depending on anyone. I love the idea of you mentioning the ilite travel group. It would be lots of fun. Hope it happens in future
i find it hard alone while my dd recently did one alone. on the ilite travel group, there few friends who meet regularly and even have done travel together. a few in mine plan and drop because something or the other crops up. but i have done visiting some of them away from my place too .. it js fun once you really are able to make that bond in reality moving away from the virtual anon.. many of them are no more active members here but we are great friends..
i know a group did kenya. and i would let them disclose it, if they are comfortable. i want all the details.. best enrol for the same tour. organising headaches are done with
Wow that’s nice ! I am sure it would be nice to put a face to a name that one gets very familiar with here.
