I had never stepped into Kitchen before marriage.. My younger brother was my moms assistant when there was festival or guest.. After marriage my dh taught me cooking basic day to day meals.. Mom helping with Lemon rice/Tamrind rice/Vangi bath gojjus, ginger garlic paste, Dosa/idli batter and 100calls to mom and dh's assistance i used to manage cooking for couple of years.. Both me and dh is foodie. And dh always criticize i cant cook decent meal its either spicy, no salt, over cooked, or not cooked properly.. I was working full time as software engineer and dint care much about his criticism. As i dint have much interest in cooking.. Only after coming USA and being sahm i got opportunity time and interest to try new recipes. Now dh is very happy, apart from improving my cooking on my day to day meals i try new things now... After inspired by @nandinimithun and @GeetaKashyap recipe posts. Here i am posting my experiments in my kitchen.

@sumalynux Guess we share a similar story there.... I never used to cook before my wedding.... I always thought there will be no need for me to cook, and i used to detest the idea of standing in the kitchen for more than 10mins.... Things changed and life changed, after marriage I realized i had to feed a hungry soul(my dh), slowly and steadily with his help, learnt to cook.... Still an amateur in cooking.... Thank you for getting inspired and posting your recipes here.... Guess, i would want to come with up Nandini’s Kitchen too.... Good luck, keep cooking and keep posting, big hugs to you.
Sure @sumalynux i will start.... Do i just create a new thread and start posting my recipes there.... Pardon my ignorance
